Hello Superwomen! Tomorrow We Unplug.
The expectation for women — especially Black women — to be Superwomen runs deep. From nannies to servants, we’ve carried generations on our backs. We’ve worked, given, supported, and poured ourselves out as mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, cousins, co-workers, entrepreneurs, and wives.
Each role demands something different, yet the message remains the same: Be resilient. Stay strong. Keep going.
We’ve done it all — sacrificing our own hopes, dreams, and desires for our families, our jobs, and our communities. Too often, we go unseen, uncelebrated, and uncongratulated. Still, we keep going. Disappointed? We keep going. What feels like failed attempts? We keep going. Rarely do we stop to breathe.
But this year, we’re changing that.
We’re starting a new movement — one that makes it normal to pause, to rest, and to celebrate our wins, big or small.
✨ On November 1st, we take off the capes.
✨ We unplug from the hustle and the heavy expectations.
✨ We reconnect with ourselves and each other.
Because every Superwoman deserves a safe place to land. 💜
